Your PCC is valid till One year from the date of its issuance .

so, if you VO will ask for fresh PCC , if they make delay in processing.

Hi,

I am a post June 26th application. My application was received by CIO on 5th Oct '11 and I received PER on 8th Feb '11. I submitted PCC along with the complete documentation. My PCC was issued on 24th August 2010. My question is - till what date my PCC is valid?
In what circumstances can a fresh PCC be requested by the VO?

Would appreciate if anyone could answer my question :)

Thanks in advance.

If you look at the requirements to apply under the skilled worker program on the CIC website, you will see at http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/apply-factors.asp that the passmark is 67 points and: "If your score is the same or higher than the pass mark, then you may qualify to immigrate to Canada as a skilled worker." so if your score is lower than the passmark, you would not qualify.

Hi all,

Pls confirm whose details should be mentioned in the DD for payment of RPRF.

Should it be addressed to 'The Receiver General for Canada' or to 'The Canadian High Commission'??? Pls help

hi I have worked as an insurance adjuster from 2006 to 2010 & now my insurance company has shut down as it was in crisis & suffering loss.

now i m working as an trainee auditor in one of the chartered accountancy firm in pakistan....

now i want to ask I m planning to apply under federal skilled worker for immigration to canada...& i will show my work experience of insurance adjuster & have experience certificate....but as my insurance company has shut down how immigration authorities verify my job experience because they can't call or visit my office for verification as my company has shut down in 2010 ?

can i apply under FSW as an insurance adjuster NOC 1233???

or will immigration authorities reject my case by giving reason that v can't verify ur experience as ur insurance company has shut down...

pls anyone help in thz regard whether i apply or not ??

Is NOC 1233 on the list of 29 most wanted? If not, you will need a job offer to apply under FSW.

You will get points for all your skilled NOC work experiences. Try to find one of your superiors at the bankrupt company and ask him if you can give his contact information in case immigration wants to check up.

Dear Leon, NOC 1233 is icluded in 29 Occupation , ok i'll show my experience of NOC 1233 now i m working as auditor NOC 1111 will my experience of NOC 1111 will also count even it is not included in 29 Occupation
......

Yes, all skilled work experience will be counted for points.

hi everyone and seniors! need help please. I sent my application last week and wrote non-accompanying for my husband because he is still in school and will graduate next year. I don't want to waste the $550 if he could not come yet ,in case...now i talked to some applicants and they said I should have included him, what should I do now that I already submitted my application and wants to include him to avoid problems in the future. Can I call cic and ask if I can send the additional fee? or wait for their reply, i heard there still 120 days period to complete application. I really don't know.. please advise. Thanks.

Send them a letter with your file number and DOB and tell them you want to change his status to accompanying and send his fee as well.

If you don't do this, you will have to sponsor him once you get to Canada and it can take 6 months to a year before he can get to Canada plus he will need a new PCC and new medicals if they have expired.

hi, if i have job offer from company of canada which is unregistered so can i apply for immigration on the basis of job offer from unregistered company ???

do immigration authorities permit immigration for a person having job offer from unregistered company in canada ???

Just having a job offer is not enough if you are applying under the skilled worker program. The employer needs to apply for an AEO, see http://www.hrsdc.gc.ca/eng/workplaceskills/foreign_workers/poarremp.shtml

If the company gets an AEO, then you can use this job offer.

A Provincial nominee program may not require an AEO so if the employer you have found can't get one, you can try to ask the PNP in that province .
