No Problem! What's great about this forum is everyone is trying their best to support each other :)
You'll need to cross the border or land through an inland IRCC office in order to apply for health card and new SIN card
ya, i will try my best to support others but ppl here know more than i do anyways!
ok which one you suggest the best? Ircc office interview or boarder crossing?! for quick and easy process

What's the status/wording of your additional documents now?

The status of my additional documents section is "We need additional documents to process your application. Check your messages below for details".

I do not have any messages below for new additional documents. As far as I am concern, this is a technical issue so I am not really worry about that status. This status has always been there since they asked for PPC and never changed even after uploading it.

Got PPR email!!

AOR: March 19, 2017
Stream: CEC Inland
No IP2, straight IP1 -> PPR

Congrats!!
I've been in IP1? (We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.) since early April. (AOR March15), was anxious about no changes at all...

Your case makes me feel less worried about no updates now. Congrats again! Hope I can receive mine soon...

Hello everyone

Do I need police clearance from Canada if I stayed there as a visitor more than 6 months ?
Please advice.
Thanks.

Just got my GSMC note last week and they said "Review Required". My NOC code seems like mismatching. However, I found something like "Primary Occupation NOC code" which I not submitted for, and the NOC code (0013) I submitted are being reviewed. If there is a case I mismatch NOC code, i would get rejected? Anyone knows? My application has stay NA for like 3 weeks already. I don't know what should I do now.

what's your current background check status?
"Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check."

I'd like to think there's nothing really to look at on my records, but then again I've had my problems with immigration (that was my fault because I had no idea what I was doing- never got in trouble or detained, just lectured ). I discussed all of that in an additional document with my app. No criminal history, no travel history except to Canada. Have a B.A., M.S., and almost done with mental health MSW. Wish I could finally catch a break. I love it there so much, it felt like home!
