Hi, I'm a Dutch actress who is looking to be a Canadian temporarily/permanent residence.

I have professional work experience for over ten years. And have been working mostly non-stop in the acting field, nationally and Internationally. Even during my Bachelor in Performing Arts (unfortunately, the highest degree in Acting in the Netherlands).
I don't have a sponsor nor do I have anybody except for a few friends in Canada (Montreal and Toronto).
So this is me doing this SOLO!
As an actress, you do not have just one employer, but I do have the hours, contracts and documents to prove it.

What would you recommend me to apply for?
Express Entry
Quebec Selected Skilled Workers
Self-Employed
Something Else?

Any suggestions are welcome!

Kind Regards,

Lachococinna ;)

You are probably eligible for Express Entry as well as the Self-Employed class. Of the two, Express Entry is the better choice.

Try this and see what it tells you - https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/come-canada-tool-immigration-express-entry.html

If this says that you are eligible for Express Entry, then you need to calculate your CRS points here - https://www.canadavisa.com/comprehensive-ranking-score-calculator.html#gs.x8z0cj

If you are eligible, and you have more than 460 points, you can quite easily become a PR (assuming you meet all the other criteria of course, money, proof of work, no criminal/medical issues, etc.)
