Hello all,

I hope to receive PPR shortly, as my ECAS status shows decision made! Ideally I want to land in the first week of July, and if that doesn't happen I may need to postpone by several months. It seems that I will be cutting it fine, as Abu Dhabi VO generally takes 3-4 weeks to send back stamped passports.

For those who have received PPR emails to send passports to Abu Dhabi VO, can you kindly copy/paste the text of the email. Is Aramex the only option, or can I use DHL or Fedex as I feel they are faster / more reliable. Also can you share what exactly I need to tell the courier, so there is no confusion? I live in Doha.

You may use only Aramex. Do as they say and you will have no problems.

The email sent to you will ask you to enclose in the envelope the following things:
- email correspondence asking you to send the passports
- updated information chart, if any
- original passport
- photos (prescribed size)
- return** Aramex airway bill or self addressed envelope

** return service is NO LONGER AVAILABLE with Aramex (as of 25th May 2015) so enclose a self addressed C4 (one that can fit an A4 size paper without having to fold it) envelope.

Send by Aramex and wait.

I'm awaiting mine from the embassy.

Thank you for the detailed reply, and reassurance. So if return service is no longer done by Aramex, does that mean Abu Dhabi VO bears the cost of the return courier? Not concerned about the cost, just wondering if I need to pay them through some other means

Another question (pardon my paranoia)... I don't have extra copies / jpg file of the photos sent to LVO, so will need to click photos afresh. Is there any mention that the same photos need to be sent??

No it's not borne by them. You need to pay upon delivery lol

As far as the photos are concerned, they can be new ones too. Paranoia in such cases is normal, the 'what if womething goes wrong' sword is the mightiest

im 2nd line now and they are asking PCC from dubai and philippines.

anybody knows the procedure to obtain NBI clearance if im here at dubai? they gave me 30 days since their mail.

You should go to the Philippine consulate po. When did you received PER? I am also waiting my 2nd line update. I got PER last 4th of Feb 2015.

Yes in pricipal her name and in spouse ur name and then her family details

So in your complete package that you've submitted in CIO is without PCC? i'm just asking...Thanks..


For your NBI, just go immediately to philippine consulate, from there you will know the procedure...

Hello Everyone,

I received my PPR email today asking me to submit the passport in Delhi VFS office within 30days.
But the immigration team knows that we are in Dubai, as they requested the PCC from Dubai police aswell in the previous email.

Now am so confused, what to do further and where to submit my passport.
Its certainly not possible to travel to Delhi at the moment from Dubai.

Should I contact the CIC on this? Please help.
