After getting AOR there is like 1+ year of wait where applicants don't hear back from IRCC at all. Is this the period where they check background checks and all of us undergo a comprehensive check? I am just curious how this stream is different from EE? Do they want us to maintain job for a year, gain experience for a year and then they start the process of medicals and other checks? This doesn't make sense if the applicant already has 1+ year of experience when they applied.
Can someone who knows the process chime in here and explain this difference? I am in this phase and I don't know when I will actually hear back from them. I got GCMS notes and there isn't much that I can see in terms of file activity.
