Do I really need employer reference letters for the last 10 yr

Hi All, I've lived in another 2 countries in the last 10 years and work in 6 different companies, do I need a reference letter of each one of my employers or only from my jobs in Canada?

You Need reference Letters to prove you have min 1 year experience in Canadian company under CEC which is one of the eligibility requirement . So whatever time you have spent and worked for companies in Canada get the reference letters from them to be safe.

As far as I know if you have resided in a country apart from your own country more than 6 months you need a PCC . You do need your country PCC for sure . Hope it clarifies.

I'm currently in work permit (WP) which expire in June 2015. If I Apply now for the PR, hopefully it will be approved after my WP expire. I heard that I should extend my WP at least 4 months before. How I know that my PR application is in process so I can decide to extend or renew the WP.

If you have received AOR which means you have an application number of your PR application , You are good to go to apply BOWP provided your current Permit has atleast 4 months of Validity . If your PR application is not finalized before 4 Months of your current WP expiry and you want to continue your status in Canada , You can apply as per your need.

Thanks, again. Do you have to pay for the BOWP if you already paid for the PR?
When you apply for this, there is any special application or you do it under the general application for open work permit. Do I submit the AOR with this application?

Yes you need to pay for BOWP.
There is no specific application I guess , its general Application , You can attach cover letter and explain your scenario while applying WP , Yes you have to prove CIC that your application is been accepted for that attach the email of AOR you received
