Hello Friends,

I received PPR in Feb, 2018 and would be doing soft-landing in the month of Aug to complete the PR formalities.

I am working in Seattle on H1b and my employer is about to file my GC(PERM first and then I-140).

My question is " Is it necessary to specify in the US Green Card filing application that my Canadian PR application has been approved"

Please confirm.

Wouldn't this be a more appropriate question for a US immigration forum?

And US immigration will have access to your Canadian immigration file, so you may as well tell them. Remember, withholding information is exactly the same thing as lying.

Withholding information voluntarily is a form of misrepresentation. By the by why do you feel iffy about this? Declaring this won't harm your GC prospects in anyways. These things become deal breakers only during citizenship applications.
