Since long November applicants are awaiting nominations. They have paused sending nominations and we all are waiting for the good news

According to presentations made by IRCC, this is due to the
backlog of pre-Express Entry applications that are still in the
queue for processing
Processing times of Express Entry applications are now starting
to trend closer to 6 months of processing time, some exceeding
this amount of time
IRCC wants to maintain its promised processing times of 6
months from date of submission
Low number of ITAs expected to continue until
September/October 2016

@HopeForTheBest26, that is about CIC processing time. At least we need nomination for that. Hope CIC maintains the speed.

I am almost certain the two are linked.. I am willing to bet that when CIC starts with bigger draws, we will see movement in OINP as well..

Agreed. Its but natural they have linked all PNP to CIC. CIC always instruct them how many nominations should be isssued. They also want people from pool.Lets hope they start making bigger draws in August, its high time

IF they were a little sensible, we would have been in the last stage of PR by now... :-X

OINP is not checking any one of these. We have to undergo all process again including these 2. They too don't trust OINP like all of us.

Major changes to Canada’s immigration system expected in fall, says Minister John McCallum

“We’re working to meet our single most important commitment to reduce the processing time for family class,” said McCallum. “Right now, it takes approximately two years for a husband and wife to be reunited… it is unacceptable.”

McCallum said the Liberal government inherited a system that is presently creating concerns within the community and his team is working to streamline it by introducing a new and improved policy.

The new system – with changes to family and skilled class, economic category as well as visitors’ visa policy – is expected to be introduced in the coming fall season.

In competition with other countries like Australia, the United Kingdom and the United States, he said the government currently working to give international students more points and make it easier for them to come to Canada.

OINP is not checking any one of these. We have to undergo all process again including these 2.

I know Ontario is not checking these two.
I am talking about Federal checking work experience and other stuff.

OINP can't compel, impose patriotism; on you. Seems, You were, you are and you will remain Indian at heart. Great feeling.

Do you know the weatherman predicted NOM's cloud burst in near future?

We did our best. The sphere of control is with OINP/IRCC, BUT God willing: Sooner or later we are bound to be compatriots!!! Start prep :'( :'(

Don't know when they are going to make all these changes.
They are announcing these from last year.
