I am not sure if they will be able to help you because you are far from the 1 year deadline. Also because you have plans to travel out of the country I dont think they will process your application urgently.Hello there all, anyone know how can i contact to mp office in Toronto?.. what is the process to contact them?.. i m from Toronto, Feb 2018 applicant .. did my test in Aug and got decision made .. and just waiting for the oath.. i m planning to travel backhome in the end of January.. so trying to get oath before that.. i called call centre and they said they cant do anything, i have to contact to local visa office directly!
Congratulations! Which office? When did you apply?Received oath ceremony invite for 7th Jan at Missisauga
Yes 3 months is a lot of time. I'll change things on my end. It's going to cost alot but it's fine.I am not sure if they will be able to help you because you are far from the 1 year deadline. You should probably renew your PR or get a temporary travel document to travel outside the country.
I am in the same boat where we've scheduled a big event on the day of Oath ceremony but I'll give preference to the ceremony because this thing is important. Will just eat-up the financial lossI have finally received the citizenship ceremony oath invitation for January 16th, 2019. I am returning on January 31 from vacation and a very big family get together. I have come to this situation to pay around $3000 to change the flights and return on January 14th so we can go to the citizenship ceremony. We bought the tickets in summer and we can show it is a family gathering with my mom who is aging. So should I come as planned on January 31 and reschedule? Or do I change the seats and come before the oath and no need to reschedule? Any past experiences of rescheduling.
