Is that good? Would it say approved if it was approved already?

Thats great news. I was finally able to use Ecas today and it stays In process. It says they started processing the application on the 19th. So i guess SA will take more time. This is crazy so just left my application hanging on the shelf for a month and yesterday just opened it.

I got the same notice today! They just started processing mine on the 19th and I'm finally able to check ECAS. I used the UCI number that was in the email they sent me. Medical also shows "passed" on MYCIC.

Looks like things are finally moving along for people! Wishing everyone a speedy approval

Quick question to all. Does SA means they believed that marriage is genuine and they are convinced with the information provided? Or this will be under AIP step?

No, they definitely evaluate in PA stage. SA doesn't really mean much since the qualifications to be a Sponsor are minimal.

patience is the word here... some applicants only received updates after so many months ... as long its within ur timeline dont get stressed!!

Very true! Thank you for the reminder . Sometimes it's easy to say tell yourself to relax and don't stress but doing it is not so easy. Just keep the faith

Who know when will the PA should upload Background Form A and the Police certificate? They will send me an email to do so? Or it will be automatically there when you link your application. Is it after SA or before

I think they will eventually mail to you. but, you can see the softcopy on mycic

On Friday I was finally able to get into ecas with receipt number. It says decision made under sponsor and when I click on it it just says we received your application Dec 29. Under principal applicant it says received application and medical results.

I haven't received an email yet with any info. It does say decision made so anyone think more than likely it's SA approval (as someone told me that before) I am just overthinking I know but I started thinking what if it's not approved because it doesn't say anything about them starting to process our application. I also can't link to mycic yet either so it's making me think the worst.

I leave Friday to go spend time with my hubby and don't want to worry the entire time
I mean we did choose email but maybe they will send it Canada post? Anyone receive AOR1 and SA via regular mail?

If it says Decision Made under sponsor, then it sounds like you have sponsor approval. Ours never actually changed to that in ECAS, it still says In Process. I know my husband had to call several times before an e-mail finally got sent with the confirmation. We were unable to access ECAS until about a week after we got sponsor approval. On MyCIC we saw changes that made us fairly confident sponsor approval had occurred, but we wanted confirmation.
