Hello Everyone,
Many of us get anxious before IELTS exam as others have created many different kinds of images in our mind. Here I will share some tips to deal with this pressure.
1. Be confident enough about yourself that you are going to crack this exam in very first attempt.
2. Do proper practice, at least make sure that you would be scoring at least 7. Do not attempt if you are unsure.
3. In practice test analyze your patterns and weak points where you are struggling more and think of solutions for it.
4. Everyday before practice sit 15-20 minutes silently and try to gather all your thoughts, energy at one point and then Strat with your practice, this will help you in increasing your concentration level which is very much required in listening test as you cannot miss on minute details like singular or plural forms, articles and prepositions.
5. On the day of exam avoid socializing and try to be in your shell, conserve all the energies and thoughts to concentrate in your exam.
6. Go to washroom before exam and take enough stationery and water with you.
7. Take small sips of water instead of drinking all in one shot.
8. Check your listening equipment well in advance, make sure you can hear test music properly.
9. Make sure your seating arrangement is proper and you are not feeling uncomfortable in anyway. coz this discomfort can affect your concentration level and you can not afford it in IELTS exam.
10. Last but not least stay positive and focus on yourself instead of getting tensed by seeing others or comparing yourself with others.

In IELTS you never know what is going to come or not as there is no defined syllabus. So you do not have to worry much about what would be asked in exam. Just be sure you have enough knowledge about English to score the highest band score in your exam.
All the best!!
