Re: NOT FLUENT IN ENGLISH

Hi and congratulations...

Did you take IELTS exam?

Re: NOT FLUENT IN ENGLISH

and when u applied?

Re: NOT FLUENT IN ENGLISH

i dont think the immigration officer at the port of entry at the time of landing is supposed to assess your english language skills. probably some member with more knowledge over this topic can clarify this for you. good luck with your landing.

First of all, Congratulations. Just out of interest, what is your profession/Occupation?
I mean, you are going to an English/French speaking country, where the official language is (assuming you don't go to Quebec) English. How do you expect to get a job, or sail through interviews?
I think you should have worked on your Language skills and be confident of yourself by now. (2006 to 2009).

Anyway, Good luck in your future ventures!!!

I doubt whether you will be asked about how you got your points. But, one thing I know is that the Immigration Officers that will handle your Landing have the discretion and rights to deny anyone the PR, if for any reason they doubt or suspect anything.

Here, read this:
The officer will ask you a few questions to make sure you still meet the requirements to immigrate to Canada. The questions will be similar to the ones you answered on your Application for Permanent Residence in Canada. The officer will confirm that you still meet the requirements for admission to Canada. This should only take a few minutes.

You will not be allowed into Canada if you give false or incomplete information, or if you do not satisfy the officer that you meet the requirements for entry into Canada.

If there are no problems at the point of entry, the officer will authorize you to enter Canada as a permanent resident. The officer will also confirm your Canadian mailing address. Your permanent resident card will be mailed to you at this address.

Please do not get me wrong. I am not implying or suggesting anything. But to be "forewarned is to be forearmed".
