CSQ application using a Mon project. it is already 13 months

I am from montreal and I had applied for CSQ certificate on 1st of Jan 2018 and it is already 13th months are completed and still showing the same status "waiting for a treatment" at Mon portal.
I would like to know that is it the same situation with others too or not ? It would be helpful if Someone already received the document request in recent time and how much time they took to receive a document request ?

Hi there,

Quebec Immigration is a lengthy process. For CSQ it took me 17 months. I applied in Feb 2017, got CSQ on July 31,2018. The only option for you is to wait patiently.

I have the same timeline as you, what are you going to do?

I am now planning to move to Ontario and apply for EE. God knows when I will get CSQ. Moreover, once I get, then again need to wait for another 18 months for PR

Status: treatment

The alternative is closed work permit. However, even that takes 4-6 months.

I think anyone who is not in "domaine priorite" list of Quebec should look other options like Express Entry.

What is domaine priorite list? Last I checked with some sources, the midi is taking upto 2+ years on the application submitted through QSW stream. However, there could be make certain exemptions on the accelerated processing of candidate applications whose pgwp is expiring before that.

My WP is expiring in end of this March. Fingers crossed..

keeping a valid status in Canada is applicant's responsibility and as far as I know none of the IMMI departments take responsibility of this. So if your status is expiring soon prepare ahead of time otherwise you will have hard time restoring it or you may have to leave Canada until your application is processed. I hope this helps.

wow, I put wrong date, the doc request is 12/2017, and doc received in 2/2018. other date is correct.
