I received my COPR a few weeks ago, but I am currently outside of Canada (left about a month ago for short traineeship abroad). I am an inland applicant of 2018. My address is still in Canada - I kept my apartment.
The COPR letter mentions not to try to enter Canada at the moment and to contact them, which I did 3 weeks ago but received no reply.
Does anyone know what I can do to return to Canada? I must return in July. My status in Canada (before the COPR) was that of international student (valid until 2023) and I am still studying there. My husband was on an open work permit, again valid until 2023 (we applied for PR together).
We informed IRCC that we would be temporarily abroad for work before we left Canada.
Anyone in a similar situation?
