Hello,

I am planning to move to Canada on the basis of Student Visa. I am computer Engineer passed out of 2012... I was engaged in Business since then. Now I am planning to work on IT Field as it was always a passion. I am primarily thinking to work on IT field as computer support technician / network technician.

I will select course also based on it, and I am planning to finish A+ certification before landing in Canada. What are chances of getting part time job while studying ? What are the chances for approval of student visa ? I already have visitor visa for Canada and USA.

Thanks.

Part time jobs : With a student visa you can only work for 20 hours. Moreover you would be in school during the day and would only have evenings and weekends to work. Which reduces your choice of employers. Hence most students try to work part time on low skilled jobs where the employers are flexible. But if you are into software probably you can try freelancing.

I cannot comment on the visa approval, but having a visitor visa would not help you secure one for sure. It is irrelevant. I think your IELTS score, admission letters would help.
