Closed work permit question

Hello,

I'm currently living in Canada and I will be applying soon under CEC class, now as you all expect I have a closed work permit (employer specific work permit) so I don't have the right to work for someone else except my employer. Do I have the right to work as a contractor as an example for skip the dishes as courier (before getting PR)? or to earn money from freelance from outside Canada? Otherwise is there any way I can ear extra money legally?

No to any work in Canada other than the employer on your permit.

You can do freelance work outside Canada as long as the company has no clients in Canada and you are not paid in Canada.

hi everyone, i am also on a closed work permit, i would like to start publishing in kindle amazon publishing service to publish my book. is this allowed as i may be getting royalties from around the world while continuing my closed work permit ?
