I agree. Try calling them exactly at 8am EST and you will be able to get through without much of a wait. Always worked for me.

Hi All, can you please let us know the dial in options you have used to reach CIC.

Are you trying to reach them for a query related to PR in CEC category? If yes, you could try 222420 - will take you to an operator straight.

yes I'm tryinng to reach them to check on the process, I have submitted my application on Sep 26th, but no status as of now, so Just thought of checking with them, not sure whether they will provide any input to my query, becuase help desk can provide infomration only if we have a AOR(file number), right now I dont any sort of tracking number. Let me give a try.

Based on the September 2014 spreadsheet, applications received on September 23rd are now getting their credit cards charged. So in a few days, I guess you could check if your credit card was charged or bank draft was encashed (depending on your method of payment).

If you haven't done so already, I suggest you add yourself to the September 2014 spreadsheet:

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Ao7BC5kOv95AdE9vdlFNYWdqR1pTV0ZqU2F1SmNCaEE&usp=sharing#gid=0

This spreadsheet will give you an idea of the applications that are currently getting processed.
