You will have to contact them and find out the next steps. The deadline is for them to receive the money, not for you to send the money. It will take more time for them to receive it. You will have to send a mail to them now.
No no, the deadline is to initiate the transaction. It is given clearly in the payment instruction pdf. However I have mailed them. Waiting for a reply from their side.

Yes my friend, but how do they know that you have initiated the transaction when you have made the RTGS transfer 2 hours before the expiry of the transaction. While it goes to standard chartered immediately, they have to inform CIBC that the transfer has been made. I made the payment well before to avoid such an issue, lets see what they say. If you get an update, do post it here so that we know what their policy is.

I was stuck with accumulating the funds. Hence the delay. But I must say. The deadline given to me was July 12th 2:42 PM EST. I made the transaction at 12:00 PM IST. Let’s see.

Hi,
Once you got to know that your funds have been rejected, how many days it took for you to get that amount refunded to your account.

Thank you for the reply. One more question -
Should I do the payment through my Internet banking or by going to branch ? Will it make any difference if I do by myself ?
