I have an employer who is ready to hire me (with a LMIA) for taking care of his child. I am from India and have diploma in education (a.k.a JBT in India) which is 2 years full time diploma. Also, I had worked as a primary teacher for 1.5 years in year 2014-2015 handling kids under 5 years of age. Apart from teaching I was responsible for reading stories to kids, handling them during the school outings and lunch time etc.
To summarize my education and work ex:
1. Full time Diploma in Education 2 years - Year 2010 - 2012
2. Bachelors in Arts 3 years - Correspondence - Year 2012 - 2016
3. Primary teacher with caregiver duties 1.5 years - Year 2014 - 2015
My questions:
1. As per my above education and work ex is bit OLD, do i need any other course or training before I apply for work permit? or the above education and work ex is good for getting child care giver work permit?
2. Do i need WES evaluation of my above education for work permit?
3. Is there anything else I should do to make my profile strong for child caregiver visa?
