CEC vs FSW / PNP

So this is my first post but I was wondering if anybody had any insight into why CEC applications are now taking longer to process than PNP or FSW.

Are people finding it is taking more than the six months?

CEC takes longer because all CEC applications are processed by the Ottawa Office; meanwhile, FSWP and PNP applications are dispersed over the entire world, over multiple Visa offices. So the load per VO for FSWP and PNP applications is lesser in comparison, leading to shorter processing times. Meanwhile, all CEC applications, as well as a fair number of FSWP and PNP applications, are processed at Ottawa, which means the average processing times for CEC take a hit.
