I’m currently in Alberta on an IEC open work permit that expires in April 2026. I applied for PR under the CEC (inland) and received my AOR on September 1. I completed biometrics three weeks ago, but haven’t had any updates since.
According to the tracker, eligibility hasn’t started yet, but security review is in progress.
Should I apply for a BOWP now? And if my PR application gets processed (approved or rejected) before the BOWP is finalized, would I get my fee refunded?
