Seniors please help!
I am employed in a Caregiver Agency who provides/sends caregivers to different seniors in their private homes in Northern Ontario. Now, they don't actually establish an employer/employee relationship as they are themselves an acting employers. In the past, they have brought in a few caregivers from Philippines and India on an LMIA and WP.
Question is they have landed on some new contracts and need at least 4 more caregivers. Can they hire the caregivers from overseas under this new Pilot? I tried to a lots of research but couldn't find an answer. Called IRCC helpline and they were not clear about this as well.
I was wondering if anyone else here is in the same boat or have first hand experience about this?
