Hi everyone, I have a Question.
After getting my post-graduation work permit, I started working in a furniture manufacturing company as a upholster(NOC type= B).

Start date = 1 May 2017
End date = 30 Nov 2017
They had to shut down the company because of fire. I got 7 months experience(full time, 42 hours per week) from there. The total number of hours I worked is 1324.
Then, I had no job for next 3 months.(December, January, february= unemployed)
In March 2018, I got the same job at another company.
If I count my hours for March and April 2018 (At the end of April, my total hours would be 170)
Total hours 170+170= 340
then add these hours to previous experience
1324+340= 1664 hours
It means I worked 1664 hours from 1 May 2017 to 30 April 2018.
So, my work experience would be counted because I worked 1664(requirement is 1560 hours) hours in a year? Would I get points or not?
or I have to work for the total of 5 months to make my experience of 1 year because I already have 7 months experience from my previous job?
is it completing 1560 hours in a year or working for 12 months for qualifying work experience under express entry?
please help

You cannot count this as a year of work experience. To say you have 1 year of work experience, you must have worked for 52 weeks with at least 30 hours of work each week.

thx for your reply Scylla.
