Canadian citizen on h4 need visa stamp??

Hi,
Last year my husband who was on TN got his H1b. So we (both canadian citizens) went to border and got stamping done. Its just a stamp on passport with admission date.

Now i am in india and planning to come back to USA. But some people here saying that i need to get h4 visa stamp and i need to get that in usa embassy in india. Otherwise airline wont allow me to board. But now trump issued eo that no visas until dec 31. What should i do now? Please help me

But i am in india now. I have just stamp on my passport and it has visa type and admission date only. I am worried will the airline let me in? Is there a link from usa goverment that says canadian citizens doesnt need visa. I want to show them incase they trouble me.

Why dont you just call the border to confirm?
Govt cant specify countries rather they say that visa is banned generically. These are rules interpretations which wont be found in govt websites. Thats the problem.

If anybody experienced this kind of situation please message. I want to know if anybody travelled from india to usa with just h4 stamp on their passport?
