Can I work in Qurbec without CAQ or CSQ

Hello,

I am a student who completed masters from British Columbia and moved Montreal for a 6 months internship which is part of the course.

I have applied for my work permit and have also got a permanent job in Montreal.

Can I work in Québec, Montreal without a CAQ or a CSQ.
