Can I apply to the CEC after the International Experience Canada???

Hi, I´m planning to do the International Experience Canada, its a program that grants me the opportunity to work in Canada for 1 Year, I was wondering if I was able to apply for the CEC after the year of work experience gained with the previous program.

I haven´t find information stating that I can or cant do it.

Yes, you can. I went down that route myself and am now a permanent resident.

Thanks for the reply, like what type of work did you do in Canada, or studies did you have?, and like how much time did it take for you to be a permanent resident?.

well in the end you have to meet the minimum requirements under the CEC.
Read into the requirements here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/cec/apply-who.asp
Find a job that meets the requirements, work for a minimum of 12 months in that job and then apply for PR under the CEC.
I needed the IEC WHP and the IEC YP visa to gain the required exprience.
The processing of my PR application took a little under 7 months, plus 2 years on work permits before that.

as long as you can prove a qualifying one year full time experience and document it then you are good to go.
just so you know starting january 2015 there will be a new model of immigration launch by cic called express entry which will affect some immigration categories including CEC so applying will not be guaranteed because all applicants should participate in a large pool from which only selected candidates will be invited to apply.

It's possible. I too went this route.

It is rather difficult to get twelve clear months of work experience required out of a work permit that lasts precisely twelve months, so you will eventually need a second work permit to (a) gain the remainder of your experience and (b) remain working in Canada while your application is being assessed, if this is what you want.

Your country's working holiday program may or may not allow repeated IECs.

^^ I don't think it will make applications under existing Economic Classes will be more difficult...as the name implies, it's more about expediting applications meeting certain requirements (e.g. Employer picks you from a job pool). CEC will still require the applicant to go through the Econ classes, except that they will be first in line compared to the usual applicants.
I think of this as a privilege check-in at airports, or express lanes at the grocery.

sorry to say my dear but you got it wrong,you judged it from the name which is totally incorrect.
if you want to get an idea try to surf through the immigration websites of new zeland and australia to have a clear image about how this works becauseexpress entry is exactly the expression of interest just a different name and canadian immigration officials have declarerd many times that is a model similar to which is already in place in other countries.
the only people who will be pushed to the front of the line are the ones with provincial nominations and valid job offers from canadian employers (when i said valid job offers i meant arranged employment supported by a positive LMIA obtained from service canada to employ a candidate on a full time permanent basis once granted pr).
having worked in canada or currently working in canada will not give you a high privilege because you will be competed against very highly skilled workers from all over the globe so unless you have a very specific skills your chances to be invited to apply for pr are at the mercy of three bodies(cic,provincial and territorial governments,employers).
one last word about this topic is:when the government first brought this idea idea it clearly says that it will AFFECT applicants under CEC,FSW and FST so think about the word affect and if you think it will be as easy as now a days or even easier you are wrong,you will come back once its implemented in january and take your hat off for me lol.
my two cents to everyone:if you can apply before january 2015 and the cap is still open,do not take a second chance,do it right away or you will regret for the rest of your life.

So the background would be the following,
Next year I will be 30 years old, I have the Toefl Ibt for English, and my mother language is Spanish.
I have a undergraduate degree in Marketing, and right now I am about to finish my MBA in about 6 months, it is internationally accredited by IACBE and an American University (Not ivy league).

I have work experience in Customer Service (Food Service) at a American Multinational at my home country, and right now I am about to change of employer and start as marketing coordinator for a distribuitor of car oils(castrol) and other stuff.

Would you think that express entry would work for me? would it help to have a close contact in Canada? I have a friend in Manitoba we are like brothers, I also have relatives in Quebec,but I am not willing to learn French, also its more difficult to enter in Quebec.
