Can I apply for student loan during the sponsoring process?!

Does anyone know if a sponsor can apply for student loan during sponsoring process? Please advise

Is it spousal sponsorship? If so, then yes. If it is another category under the Family Class, it might be an issue as you need to maintain LICO throughout the application process.

Yes you can as it is a loan... not social assistance (welfare)

Absolutely. I had a student loan when I applied to sponsor my husband and we were approved without a problem. A loan is completely different than social assistance.

Yes, I am sponsoring my wife (just my wife since we have no kids).
