Yes i am asking abt the ielts coaching..
first let me tell you HARMAN that IELTS is not all about to check your proficiency in English Language. IELTS is a exam to check your capacity in 4 modules i.e. Reading, Writing, Speaking and Listening..
so NO Institute can guarantee you for your required BANDS in IELTS exam,, this solely depends on your past touch and contact with English language and how frequently you are in-touch with English Language. obviously if you are from India, most of time we are surrounded by our native language (Hindi, Punjabi or local dialect) and even in colleges and universities all the conversation take place in native languages, so so when it comes to IELTS , we turn the face towards IELTS center and i have seen the conditions of the students (students who enrolled in IELTS classes and come from Rural schools or from the schools where language of instruction is not English) and when such students attend the classes in IELTS centers , they ask to rote learning the topic and then repeat the same in front of teacher and they get prepared 5-60 speaking topics by the illiterate IELTS trainer and if that topic by luck get in exam then students repeat the same rote learning statements in front of IELTS examiner and if by unluck that topic did not get in exam,, ha ha thumbs down and guys comes out of Exam center with bow down heads,...
when you move for search the IELTS Center ,,, keep following points is your mind:
1. Trainer should be approved or he/she should himself/ herself give IELTS exam and secured min. 8.0 Band to prover his/her credibility to teach you.
2. ask for his/her experience in training the students for IELTS (min. 7-10 years)
3. Quality of IELTS material he/she has in their center
4. Quality of Audio Headphones.
5. center environment ,,, (most important factor)
6. IELTS enrollment facility provided by the center.
7. what is the unique methodology and practice that the Trainer have to train the students for IELTS exam,,
8. ask for previous students score and performance in IELTS of the center
in IELTS centers , IELTS trainer change frequently ,, one goes and new one comes up... so i just want to say that don't rely one Teacher fully... you can find the huge IELTS materials over internet and free of cost.. even you can buy plenty of best book of different publishers and writers.. even foreign writers.. plenty of damn good books are available in the market or could not found ..just visit Amazon.com,,, and can buy...
IELTS is all about 'tricks, practice and patience' ,,, thats it...
i have seen plenty of applicants who have just take 4-5 days classes and secured 7.5-8.0 band and even some of never attended any classes and secured 7.0 Band... all depends on your grip and previous English Knowledge.
i can't recommend you any IELTS center because i don't believe in centers except you got a really brilliant Trainer by luck who really deserve to called Brilliant...
just concentrate on these things..
1. English Vocabulary
2. Grammer and sentences knowledge
3. try to learn Unique words
4. Learn Synonyms and Antonyms
5. buy at least 2-3 books for Reading , Writing, Speaking and listening,.
6. buy a high Quality of Headphone having Microphone ...
7. prepare on some topic ,, if u have laptop then record ur voice over microphone whilst speak one some topic and listen your recorded and find out the errors where you should concentrate like pitch of voice, pace of voice, loudness of voices, where to have pause, range of vocabulary. etc. etc..
8. read as much as you can.. don't think IELTS point of view.. you can read anywhere.. news paper, News channels, books, magazine, novels,, etc,,, try to search new vocabulary from such mediums ,, etc. etc..
9. regarding buy the book which comes up plenty of CDs... may be in first attempt you get disappoint but don't worry.. just have confidence and carry on...
need further questioning,, kindly ask,,
