Bls india--pcc doumentation help?

i am planning for applying pcc through Bls india in surrey location.

Can anyone say ecactly what are the documents i need to fill and send with my application?

What are the originals i need to send. I came to know that i need to send my original copy of Workpermit too.Is it true.Can anyone please help me.

Moreover how long does it take to get pcc

I need to apply pcc for my wife too.can we send both applications together.

Yes, you need to submit your original passport and Work Permit to apply for Indian PCC. You just need to fill any form(s), checklist, and take your passport size pictures along with the fees. Here are more details:

I am not sure on how long it takes to get the PCC. It can be as little as 3 weeks or longer.

I applied PCC through BLS and I dont remember sending the Original Work Permit. I showed the agent my Original WP and held on to it. But this happened a year ago. I'm not sure WHY a canadian WP is required to get an Indian PCC. Please be careful sending the original WP and check with them.

If you are sending postal application you need to give work permit too(For Toronto jurisdiction). BLS pin that work permit to passport.

How often do bls canada up date the application tracking thing. I applied for pcc on feb 24, 2014 .. Still keeps saying process at consulate general.. Any clue how long usually take

You need to fill application for police clearance certificate no need of police clearance reference form.

Last time when i applied i just filled for PCC but no PC reference form.

You need to show your workpermit to the office and along with pcc application you need to send them your
passport and your passport size photos.

Im going to apply dis monday for PCC if any changes are made ill let you know.

Plus, they charged me $20 for courier service and when I said that I would like to pick up my passport and not go with courier service, they said its mandatory and that's how the process is. So they charged me $55 in total.

Is it so? That's how it is always or they acted weird with me only? :-[
Please advise..

yes, now apparently they keep the work permit as well....happened to me last December...

I applied from BLS Surrey, British Columbia on this Aug 2nd and surprisingly got it delivered to me by Aug 8th. I provided them with my original passport and a copy of my work permit. On the checklist it says that I am supposed to submit original work permit. But the BLS clerk said that the original wasn't needed at all. I was told that the processing time is about 4-6 weeks but they took less than a week.

I too was charged $55. I wasn't given an option of picking up. May be it was mandatory to send by mail.
