Applying for Police Clearance - Validity ?

Hi Guys,

I have planned to apply for the Canada Express Entry in Mid august. I am just getting my docs in order.

Is it a good idea to apply for India Police Clearance now from the passport office? I want to apply now so when I get the ITA I just have to submit. What is the Validity of the police clearance in India? Please advice

If India is your country of residence then 6 months.
