Application processing time limitation

Were I can find if there is any limitation of the time for processing application for permanent residential in Family class ( Spouse ) applying from inside Canada . On the official site they give only approximate processing time. But i would like to know if they have some time limit by law after which they should give final decision.

i dont think so, is always an estimate and this has been the case ever since and they always in most cases work within the time line or frame unless yr case is one of those that needs different attention to it... and a whole lot..
