Application from Bahrain

Dear all,
My residential country is Bahrain and the nearest center for bio-metric is in AbuDhabi, which mean that I have to travel to UAE ,my question is that center keeps the passport with them until the visa is issued(it means that I should stay at least 10 days in UAE)?

Your nearest biometric center is Al-khobar between. No they don't keep passport. Passport email will come on later date after security and backgrounds checks

You can give your biometrics at Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Muscat, Kuwait City, Doha (not considering Pakistan VACs) which accept biometrics for the Abu Dhabi visa office.

You need to submit a photocopy of your passport to the VAC. The VAC will not retain your passport

This is incorrect information. OP needs to submit his biometrics to a VAC for the Abu Dhabi visa office and not for the Riyadh visa office

VACs are very interconnected with each other. I will still suggest him to call Khobar VAC before travelling to Abudhabi.

We have seen cases where applicants gave their biometrics to VACs that were not 'connected' their visa offices.... and these applicants had to follow-up to ensure that the 'not connected' VAC forwarded their biometrics to the correct visa office

Hi Guys,

I am in a similar situation if anyone could please advice.I am yet to receive my bio metric enrollement for Canadian PR however as I see there is still no center available in Bahrain.

Could anyone please advice based on their experience.Thanks.
