I am going to sponsor my wife.
I am looking at the form. I have a couple of questions.

On the form ADDITIONAL FAMILY INFORMATION.

SECTION A--On the spouse line. would that be the Canadian spouse? Or because spouse is Canadian, can you leave it blank?

SECTION B--It asks for the children details. Should the children be listed, as they where born outside of Canada. But have already been given Canadian citizenship. Or should they not be listed, as they are Canadians by birth.

I sure wish the forms were written in plane English.

Many thanks,

Darren

Hi,

The form itself is self-explanatory.

If you are talking about IMM-5406 E, it is to be filled up by the PR applicant.

If your spouse is a Canadian you need not sponsor her because she is already a citizen.

Any how, the answer is : you have to fill up the asked details of your spouse, children, parents, brothers and sisters - whether they are Canadian citizen or not. They want to know who are your family members.
