Any progress on your application? Have you ordered GCMS notes?

no progress at all bro, i ordered my 4th set of gcms a week ago........its 5 months since AOR.....some fsw outland from india have their file moved to ottawa some to ndvo....mine to ndvo unfortunately.........ottawa fsw outland guys got rprf and bg in progress.

cool, i know 3 guys fsw outland from india (no pnp) who got their bg check in progress......i guess their VO is Ottwa....did u order gcms?....did u or ur employer(s) receive any calls.

I'll order GCMS notes once 6 months are up. Not too sure if my employers have received any calls. I have a sneaky feeling that my file hasnt been touched.

In March AOR group, however - seems like there was rain yesterday (Tuesday rains!) for people who had finished 6 months since AOR. So there is hope.

well its good to have hope, but my point is , was the rain in our category.....i mean fsw outland(no pnp) with office as NDVO if yes then im happy.

Mixed bag, that. None of the people have mentioned their Visa Offices, except one.

Inland applicants are usually processed in Ottawa. Outland applicants may generally be processed at current country of residence

hmm......i know 3 aoril AORs who live in india with no pnp, got their rprf and bg in process, one of them got thier gcms yeatarday and his vo is ottawa, mine is ndvo, im april aor too.

In my case too everything else is Not needed except Medicals. I am an OINP outland candidate from India. I have no idea what they are doing with my application!!

me too sailing in the same boat, oinp nominated from India. After Aor on 22nd april, got medicals passed and sch 4 request within a week all done, but after that complete silence.
BG has not changed at all, been at not needed from the beginning.

I have not ordered gcms notes but hoping something will move now as iam close to the 5th month mark.
don't know if the file is in ndvo or Ottawa... if there was some thing wrong with the file or any additional docs were needed, they should hv contacted by now. so fingers crossed, it is just taking its own sweet time for some one to look at the file and nothing else!

Hello guys, My AOR is 24th April. My VO is Ottawa (as per GCMS notes) and my BG turned to "In progress" on 2nd September.

Does anyone have idea about processing time at Ottawa VO? Till when can I expect PPR from them?

Tru that!!....Even I haven't ordered GCMS notes...I m just waiting for 6 months period to get over then only I"ll think bout ordering notes if nothing happens by then. My case is typically same as yours....dunno why they are taking so much time to process PNP candidate's applications!!....BG check not needed at this time is something which gives me a feeling that my application has not been touched so far after clearance of Medicals and Schedule 4 request.

I think most people are putting too much emphasis on the second background in progress. While it is an indicator for some, it's not for all. Stop worrying so much. Some people have received COPR without anything changing once. Most applications are taking six months. If it is longer than that, then start asking questions.

Last week i was worried because wen our profile was checked the background check was not stated and eligibily is review in progress but today my background check is in progress.
