If you back read the page of 700+ you will a case where someone did that and got an approval. So I guess yeah, the visa officer cannot refuse you for that reason.

Good morning everyone! Naglodge po ung requirements ko last Dec. 13 aabot kaya ako sa Jan 2018 intake. And lets say maaprove ng Feb. 2018 (crossed fingers) Ano po options po. Will the University still accept me as their Jan. 2018 students? What are my options. Thank you po. Btw Centennial College po ako.

Hi Jhay-Jhay, I don't think so. Did you apply on SDS (30 days processing) or regular (9 weeks processing)? As far as I know, yan po yung usual processing days and Jan 2018 classes usually starts Jan 3 to Jan 12. I applied October 30 and still no news, my program starts January 3. I'm not sure if I'll make it. There are actually programs na nag-aaccept ng monthly intakes. So the best you can do is to check with your school or you can defer to the next term available for your program. Most schools accept January, May and September intakes. Perhaps, meron dito sa forum enrolled in Centennial that could help you rin.

Thank you sir. Regular processing po (9weeks). I see so malabo nga, once it is approved by the 2nd week of feb? can I get my 2300cad $ and then just enrolled as may Intake 2018? pwede na rin po bang magflight earlier than May? if ganun po ang magiging situation. Kinakabahan po ako,. I hope i can make it.

Pero there are cases here na regular application pero na-approve in 5 weeks lang. Sa school naman, depende din po.. sa school na inapplayan ko kasi they allow po magdefer ka to next term, carry over lahat ng payments mo. Pero, once ka lang pwede magdefer and they will have to approve din kung ano reason mo and accepted naman ang reason na late study permit issuance. I'm not sure lang po how early ka pwede mag flight prior sa start ng program. May mge experts dito who really knows a lot sa processing ,I hope they'll have time to answer your concern.

Sorry to hear! I also got mine a few hours ago and it was also refused, for the second time. But this time there were more reasons for refusal. Purpose of visit..etc..etc.. But anyway, I feel really bad but life doesn't stop here although it seems it did for a while..lol

I'm sorry to hear about your refusal. I know it can be devastating but I hope you get back on your feet quickly. :)

If you plan to reapply again, I recommend applying for CAIPS notes so that you know your specific refusal grounds and address them accordingly. This is not a requirement as others have reapplied and successfully received permit approvals without the notes however, if you want to exert all effort to make your SOP stronger, CAIPS would help immensely in this aspect.

Hi An_C. I'm sorry about your refusal.

May I please know if you submitted the same documents from your previous application? Just trying to figure out how you ended up with more refusal reasons. I imagine that VOs reviewing cases have different perspectives but just trying to learn fro your experience, if its alright to share.

Nope, I submitted my first application last 2015 so there were changes, I was employed in a company in Manila back then and my husband was working abroad. My reason for refusal before was other reasons, your proposed studies are not reasonable in light of one or more of your qualifications, previous studies....This time I applied together with my husband, but I think the problem was I'm now working from home, my company is based in Canada ( but I was given a certificate of employment) and my husband is currently not working fulltime, he's only doing online business since he came home from abroad this year while waiting for the result of this application. And included in our reason for refusal - current employment situation, purpose of visit, employment prospects in current country of residence.
