With my spouce included in the application, we would only get 417 points. Is there any point in applying now or should I wait 6 months until my points will go up to 465 points?

We are both british and have started business here on the IEC visa. I don't know if that will make any difference.

Thanks

apply PNP

other visas have no impact on express entry applications

I am not sure about the benefit but I also don't see any harm in entering the pool. You can update your profile when your points go up. Still.....your decision.

There is really no disadvantage to entering the pool and creating your EE profile.

At least you will have all your information ready and can make changes whenever you can add more points.

The profile is valid for 12 months, so that gives you plenty of time. Would also show you if you are missing any information about travel or other personal details you need for the profile.

I agree with Andre_Smol. You can enter the pool now as it does not cost you anything and you can be well prepared once you are ready to apply.

so how will you get the extra 48 points, although currently even 465 will not be enough
