Hi guys, some updates... just received my citizenship certificate today. Check your mailbox! On the envelop it only says the letter is from IRCC.

I meant myself got worried since local mail usually takes only 2 business days..

Why you get so worried about filling in the oath form..Do not put anything on the form before the ceremony. They will guide you to complete the form.

Do you live in Toronto? I called them today and the lady told me they already mailed me the certificate on 9th... I'm under the impression that local mail usually take only 2 business days. It has been more than a week now.. Start getting worried.

Had my virtual ceremony yesterday and ECAS status changed to complete this morning. :) Good luck to everyone who are waiting for test/ oath invite!

Did you send the from twice and received reply on the second time? I am thinking maybe I should send it again...

No that's the email address they sent me the oath invitation. I believe @zam7 also received from a similar email address (different officer). It really depends on the office processes your application. If you check other people's posts, some of them received from a generic cic address, some...

No, I did not get an automatic reply. I sent to the officers work email (not to the generic cic email address).

OK. Did you reply to the Notice to Appear email or sent a separate email? I also sent my form right after the ceremony but haven't got a response yet...

I think it depends on the officer. I was not asked to fill in the language section.

Hello everyone, as I posted in another thread, today I called IRCC and the agent told me "the candidates are randomly selected for oath invites. Anyone else was told the same by IRCC? I hope she was making a joke...

I was just repeating what exactly the IRCC call center agent told me. It's just so frustrating that they are sending oath invites to people randomly.

I just called IRCC and the agent told me only a few people will get oath invites and they are RANDOMLY selecting the candidates!! She told me there is no way to request for the invites and people who are not selected will have to wait for in-person ceremony. What the **** is going on?

Why its so hard for IRCC to let people know when they should expect their oath? To me it's very simple- put people in a queue and obey the first in first out rule instead of doing lucky draws.... Do they really care about people who have been waiting for more than half a year?
