This is not good at all! When I called, the agent mentioned the file has a timeline of June end so just wait for a month or 2....My application actually moved from Sydney- Edmonton- RROC...:-(

Not sure if something changed in last one week.. It was in 'Not started' status for almost a month...

Yes I called them last week and that is what they said. My file had moved from Edmonton to RROC on June 28th, Eligibility was passed on June 4th and Background check was in not started status for more than a month.

Congratulations to everyone who got their e-COPR or portal email. I am still waiting for my Background check to start, VO-RROC. :-(

Wow! My AOR is April 7... I hope I get my approval too...

I hope you get your approval soon. My background status changed from 'Not started' to 'we are processing' last week. Last when I called them they said Security and criminality had not started.

It changed back to processing this week. It was in 'not started' stage prior to that.

Yes I called them last Monday but that time BG status was still the same. It changed 2-3 days after my call to them.

After the last update on my file being moved to RROC, my background check status has changed from "We will let you know when we start your background check" to " We are processing your background check". May I know which stage I am and does it give me positive sign about my file moving?

Try calling them at 7:55AM EST sharp so you are able to be on hold by 8AM. You can request a callback by leaving your number. I have been able to talk to them. My application status says- Eligibility passed, Criminality and Security not started.- AOR 7th April.

It shows the same for me online. AOR 7th April, You need to call them and get the exact status.

I just hope so as they said my security and criminality have not started yet. This is something they have been saying for more than a month now.

Any idea how long do I need to wait? Agent said file is moved to RROC only when everything looks good with the file. I see people from May AOR getting portal emails. I am still stuck with not started status for a month now, no change in status on other things
