Hello, From what i read on the internet the Indian government does not require a U Visa sticker on the foreign passport of OCI card holders.However on the BLS website it is mentioned that "After Three dates, Applicant has to submit below mention documents at the Centre"...

I had my ceremony yesterday at the 'sauga centre. There were 100 of us and the entire process took exactly 2 hours.Was told that we could apply for passport not earlier than this coming Tuesday.

Check the I94 DHS website if your last few entries were captured against B1/B2 or H1 and may be use that as your supporting document. I had H1 visa but once I got by B1/B2 the US border agent crossed out the H1 with "CWOP" markings (Cancelled without prejudice).

Please update the list. Done with the exam today. Was told to appear for the Ceremony on December 7.

Date is pre-printed in the document. I would rather sign it on the day off before I hand it over

Assuming you are travelling to India...you can always apply for the e-visa which supposedly has a very short wait time. Apologies if you are looking for information regarding a different country as I do not have any information of how it will work in that case.
