    Parents and Grandparents Sponsorship 2019

Question... my parents are struggling to get someone to do fingerprints for them in Europe to then apply for FBI background check. Is there a way to access the biometrics that were already submitted for the application? (since they could apparently use those)

    Parents and Grandparents Sponsorship 2019

I finally figured it out! And have now successfully linked my application to GCkey. For the number of people in the application, it was both my parents, myself, and my husband/co-sponsor (4), NOT just my parents (2), and NOT including our daughter (5) even though she's included for the financial...

    Parents and Grandparents Sponsorship 2019

Clearing the cookies helped. Ran out of tries so will try again tomorrow. I have also not had in success in the last year changing my parents' address. They moved to a different apartment in their building. I've submitted the form online several times, emailing the Paris VO (a guess because so...

    Parents and Grandparents Sponsorship 2019

Ah, I've always just put my dad and my mom (2) for number of applicants. That is something to try. Except now I can't access the form... I log in and it takes me to the screen English/French, I select English, and takes me to the main help page... This happens often when I've tried this that I...

    Parents and Grandparents Sponsorship 2019

It looks like sometime in the last month or 2, we went from "application received" to "in process" but when I click on "in process" it still just shows that the application was received in June 2019. I've tried many times to link this application to my GCkey account to see more details and it's...

    Parents and Grandparents Sponsorship 2019

We contacted our MP a while ago but because it was before 24 months, they couldn't do anything. Not at 24 months yet but since we got that letter a bit ago about how the processing times are not accurate (and no longer listed as such), I don't think inquiring again will help. I did get the GCMS...

    Parents and Grandparents Sponsorship 2019

    Parents and Grandparents Sponsorship 2019

My dad got the email (twice, actually) and forwarded it to me. We are still in the application received part... not even in process yet for sponsor approval.

    Parents and Grandparents Sponsorship 2019

I also heard back from my local MP's office. They said "I spoke with the IRCC regarding your case. I understand that you have been waiting 18 months. They assured me that your parents’ case is still processing and moving forward. You can expect to hear back in the 20-24 month time frame...

    Parents and Grandparents Sponsorship 2019

None whatsoever. I just called and emailed our MP, after reading through some of the other comments here. The processing timeline on CIC's website still says 20-24 months and it's been over 19 months for and we don't even have Sponsor Approval... I'm going to order GCMS notes too. I've done the...

    Parents and Grandparents Sponsorship 2019

Similar story here. App received Jun 26 2019 and AOR on Sept 14 2020. Nothing since then... Parents are in Belgium.

    Linking application to GCkey

I hope someone has clear instructions on how to do this... I'm following the weblink to link my application (sponsoring my parents) to my GCKey but whenever I log in to my GCKey, it just takes me back to the standard immigration webpage. Has anyone been able to figure this out? Even the weblink...

    Parents and Grandparents Sponsorship 2019

Still no news at all. We were late submitting. I think they received our application three days before the deadline. Had to wait till our child was born in early June 2019 because we knew she’d be born before the deadline and she’d be a dependent so had to give birthdate and name. Anyway... no...

    Parents and Grandparents Sponsorship 2019

Hi! We are a mid-June applicant and I still haven't received anything... no way to check ECAS. Is anyone else in this situation? The only thing we received was an email months ago about updating a form because a signature was missing, which we emailed the next day. From this, I have the...

    December 2017 - Citizenship Applicants

I had posted I got the oath invite on July 25, which is when I received the email. But ecas says the notice was sent on July 11. Not sure which data is better for the spreadsheet.

    Vancouver applicants - (C-6 10/11)

Congrats on the baby :) That's exciting! I had friends who took their oath when their baby was a week old and they took her with them to the ceremony this spring. My app was received December 7th 2017. AOR on Feb 2, IP on Mar 3, test invite on May 16, test on June 14, and decision made on June 15.

    Vancouver applicants - (C-6 10/11)

I'm in Port Moody and took the test in downtown Vancouver in mid-June. I believe there is a centre in Surrey as well. I don't know if there's a spreadsheet for Vancouver specifically... I'm on the one for applications submitted in 2017. Patiently waiting for the oath invite :)

    December 2017 - Citizenship Applicants

ECAS changed to DM today! Can somebody update my line in the spreadsheet please? I'm assuming this is a positive DM, given yesterday's passing of the test and the officer saying I'll be notified when to take the oath.
