It is the anniversary of your medical. Say your medical was done on May 01 2014, then your visa will expire May 01 2015 or your passport expiry date whichever is soonest.

Yes, you still need to send in your passport even HK is visa exempt.

You should entered last name only, no need for first name. A lot of people made the same mistake. Try again using just last name.

Usually, you can log on to ECAS 2 to 3 days after AOR1, you probably enter some fields wrong, did u put only your last name?

After 6 months 12 days, we finally received the COPR today. Original photos were not returned, only passport, COPR and a letter. I am so relieved now. Thanks to everyone on this forum, it has been a great help! I will post my detailed timeline later. Best of luck to all those still waiting for...

I think you can land anywhere except when you specify Quebec. Btw, when did ur hubby go into DM and received COPR?
