Atlast some hope today i called customer service and waited in the call for 30 mins and they checked and confirmed its approved... Next is waiting game to ship the passport... maples0101 - Application has received and no further udpates.....

My renewal application from US: -Application delivered to them - Jan 25th 2024 -Credit card charged - Feb 3rd 2024 -Status : Still waiting to receive the passport. :( Not sure how more days they will be requiring to process the renewal passport application.....

Msafiri - It was a residence permit which got expired since it wasn't used within 1 year.

Will try calling them. But i am clueless how to proceed further with NZ entry/exit which i haven`t even entered NZ its just the stamping was there in my spouse passport.

I received my Oath notice letter yesterday to attend the Oath on 27th March at Mississauga. After 2 weeks of Test date i received the Oath letter. During the interview they wanted to validate US entry/exit stamp. It looks like CIC has fast access to pull CBSA report for validation.

They mentioned since you have already provided your consent in the application form they confirmed they will be using that.

I also have similar experience. My test and interview was at Mississauga on 27th Feb. During the interview they verified each and every entry/exit stamping. Couple of visits from US to canada wasn't stamped. So the interview officer told they will be requesting for CBSA report to validate...

In the last 4 years if you have entry and exit stamp in your passport then no CBSA report is required. If any stamp is missing then CBSA report is advisable so that it doesn't delay the process.

One more common suggestion is kindly have your CBSA report handy during interview if there is no equivalent stamps they will delay the process further. In those situation you can hand over the CBSA report. For my case due to US entry/exit missing they are going to CBSA and verify that. :(

I cleared the test 20/20. During the interview- passport verification couple of US entry/exit stamp was missing and it was a one day trip. So the officer is going to pull the CBSA report and to validate the dates. Not sure how long does it going to take..
