What's your expectation then? I don't think they'll start immediately, but surely they will send more NOIs in the second half of the year. They currently need to send 5000 NOIs this year to reach the previous years' numbers(not to mention their intention to increase annual NOIs and ITAs for 2022)

I think they kept the cap only for the French stream. It would be a joke picking ppl all above 550 points.

I checked the numbers and this doesn't seem that harsh! If they can double the 2022 allocation or at least increase it to a large extent, then there would be lots of capacities that even the Trade stream would not be able to fill it. I think prioritizing trades and health care will not be a...

The strategy of increasing NOIs :) At the end of 2021, Ontario asked the federal government to double its allocation for 2022. I'm not expecting them to double the HCP annual NOIs. But at least they can keep the same pace or increase it slightly compared to last year.

I think so. They have done it before in 2021 as well. It's so strange! Till now, they have issued more than double of all Skilled Trades' NOIs in 2021.
