Well I sent them an email enquiry through webform and they replied and there was a number in it starting XEP******* which I believe is temporary number.

AR means they received my application but not AOR(Acknowledgement of receipt).

Congrats. How many family members do you have in your application. Do you have any family member living out of Canada? The reason why I am asking is because I have 4 members in my application and one is out of country. My AR is July 30 and try to understand IRCC's processing.

How does temp file no look like. Like what are the first 3 letters. I received a number which is like XEP********. I was wondering if this is temp file number.

Police reports expire in 6 months and IRCC will going to require again at some point later on. And currently there is long wait time to get AOR. I would send application without Police Report and send a note that it will be provided when available.

I did that but it doesn't show anything for me.

How do you check the status?

I learnt from another thread that July 24th application received AOR ON Jan 25, 2021.

What is your application status before this email? Check the sender's email very carefully if it is from IRCC are something look alike? Do you live in Saskatchewan? It could be your CBSA permanent residency interview what you would have done at the port of entry. Can you please share your time...
