I wish I had the passpord request too. It would have been easier to do the landing at the border.

Good for you. In my case I didnt get the passport request and when I called them they said its approved and Windsor office will contact me with the appointment date. I was finally given a date by Windsor office for landing interview but its 2 months from then.

thanks. i am cec inland from windsor. my friend had an interview there about 6 months ago. he was the only one having interview that time and finished everything in under half an hour. probably windsor is not that busy.

i had a ghost update on march 28. and called cic today and i was told that the application is approved and i will be contacted by the local office for landing interview. finally relieved.

thanks. hopefully we see more of these updates from this VO. being patient is not that easy with this process. we see people getting PPR's within a couple of months for some but for others they are not even touching the files until 4 or 5 months.

i just called CIC. they said my eligibility is in progress now. now i am happy that atleast they are working on my file. AOR OCT 15 and MEP NOV 13.

it doesnt look like they are working in a timely manner either. you are almost at 8 month mark. please let us know on this thread if you get any response from them.

No, i am in IP2. i am inland applicant. so like most of the inland applicants. i went straight to IP2 when the medicals passed.

i dont suggest you to withdraw and resubmit. that might even delay it longer. if you get a different VO, there is no guarantee that it would be processed quicker. my room mates AOR is sep 18th. his application is at etobicoke visa office. as per his gcms notes his application hasnt been touched...
