It seems like the process of creating a PDF File after the application is approved it's not connected with the backend systems.

The phone thing doesn't make sense for me. Why not just open the appointment system gradually in phases, based on the AOR date? or even more clever, why not just open an outdoor tent somewhere in GTA just for biometrics appointments?

Agree with you, I'm pretty sure the percentage of people who need to give biometrics is bigger. Would be nice if everyone that put the name in the spreadsheet add also the information about the biometric exemption, with that we can have some idea of what the percentage would be...

https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/news/notices/gradual-resumption-in-person-services-sep-2020.html It's going to be a long wait in the GTA area, I can not even imagine how they are gonna make so many calls.

Well, you can go to the US, but if you're not a Canadian or permanent residence, you cannot go back to Canada, unless the officer board allows you.

I have a feeling that if they don’t waive biometrics soon we won’t get any approval this year anymore

I haven't order GCMS notes yet, but I guess not, probably they requested the RPRF because the eligibility is passed or recommended pass.

I got my RPRF on 10 Aug, I'm inland, AOR 13 May. Let me know when they confirm your RPRF request. My "Review of additional documents" says "Not applicable" since I uploaded the receipts one week ago.

So I paid the fee for me and my wife (500+500) in one payment. But the upload document section opened 2 boxes to upload the receipts. Should I have done separate payments to get 2 receipts? I end up uploading the same receipt for both.

A bit unrelated, but I'm in implied status, waiting for a Work permit extension since March, and now waiting for my PR (Aor 15 May). I'm planning a quick trip from Toronto to Vancouver. Have anyone experience it? I guess is a domestic flight with no customs. I'm gonna have problems or I'll be...
