There is no recalculation of points after AOR.

@cansha I am a FSWO applicant too. My medical exams will now expire on March 7, 2020. Does medical expiry lead to any alert at IRCC or will the endless wait just continue? My AOR is Oct 13, 2018. Also, there is just about a month to go, can they ask for a new exam too?

The medical officer can decide to extend the validity of the previous exam without asking you to re-do it.

The file seems to have moved ahead in the system; someone opened your file and bgc check and perhaps security is done now. The final will still be re-checked by a vo before it is sent for ppr processing. Did you see a ghost update in ur account (Updated)?

@tanvir1982 Mine passed in March 2020. I am still waiting for an update after that. AOR Oct 2018

What was the last updated you were aware of? Have you ordered GCMS notes or called IRCC?

Adding after AOR does not lead to recalculation of points.

About med exams - IRCC will inform you about it. I am assuming POF will have to be updated for both of you if the amount mentioned was lesser initally.

Are you outland applicants? If so, neither of you can land if you do get married as it would lead to a change in your family status. As of now, you can add your partner to your application as it will not lead to recalculation of points. There could be some delays but it is worth the wait. Also...

Schedule A and remedicals is a sign that someone has opened your application. Given the time they have taken to process the application, they just want an update from you abt your overall details. I would not read too much into it as they are considerable processing delays nowadays. However...

You cannot land without your spouse after you get married. You can add your spouse to the application after you get married (it does not lead to recalculation of points) and get to land together.

Do you mean you received a ghost update? This means someone opened your application and it has moved ahead in the system.

Do you have the marriage certificate already? Ideally, 3 days after application seems a very small time period; ircc generally does not recalculate points after AOR. However, they may do it in your case as you got married within 3 days.

I too received this email. Seems to be just a generic email sent to all pending applicants. I received a similar one in June too.

There is no specific to know which application will go faster. The most ideal situation is adding a spouse after AOR as it does not lead to re-calculation of CRS points. You just need to inform IRCC about the change in status and they will share the list of documents with you.

Nope nothing yet. I did call a week ago and they mentioned my eligibility seems to be passed but no update on bcg check and security
