    New PR confirmation portal

I think I have a new career goal now. That is to become an IRCC officer/agent, it seems like the government offers excellent job security.

    New PR confirmation portal

I think we have the same agent (or officer). I got my first email on Jan 06 to which I responded within 15 minutes. I got my credentials on Jan 22. You might get yours this week, stay hopeful.

    New PR confirmation portal

Yes, hopefully soon. I am gonna set a reasonable expectation of 1 month from now. If I get my eCOPR by Feb 22, I will not be disappointed.

    New PR confirmation portal

I am waiting for eCOPR just like you. I do not think I am lucky as there are people who applied after me and got their PR cards before us when you and me are still waiting for eCOPR.

    New PR confirmation portal

Update: Finally got my portal credentials after what felt like an eternity to me. I received the first email on Jan 06 and it took them 16 calendar days to get back to my email. I am not sure if this has anything to do with the lengthy follow-up email that I sent on Wednesday offering them a way...

    New PR confirmation portal

Lol, that makes four of us now. We likely got a slacker.

    New PR confirmation portal

Yes, it is insane to think that I have been waiting since Dec 02 (approval date) as an inland applicant to get my COPR. I am probably gonna have to wait 4-5 weeks after getting my login to download eCOPR. Doing the math, 7 weeks (assuming I get my creds tomorrow) + 5 weeks + 1 week (for the PR...

Thanks, chum. I appreciate your help.

    New PR confirmation portal

This portal must be the joke of the century. At least with a COPR sent by email, one can start accumulating days towards fulfilling the residency quota for citizenship. This portal has instead trapped people in limbo for 'faster' PR card processing.

    New PR confirmation portal

Lol, I just realized I am running out of time for my COPR. At this pace, I might have to re-do my medicals. Frustrating to see this pathetic level of standards and poor organization shown by IRCC here.

    New PR confirmation portal

Like other Jan 6 recipients, I am still waiting for login credentials from IRCC Etobicoke. I never thought I would have to wait for more than 2 weeks for a username and password. People who sent their details and got their portal login credentials, could you please post the format? I want to...

    New PR confirmation portal

I believe we have the same agent. PM me and let’s see if we really have the same agent.

    New PR confirmation portal

Both my emails have the subject lines beginning with RE: and I tried modifying format in the follow up email. I can definitely say it’s not the format. The line ‘one client per line’ is ambiguous and quite pathetic to be honest. I guess I will just have to wait now.

    New PR confirmation portal

This wait is driving me nuts. As per my GCMS notes, my application was approved on Dec 02, 2020. I received my first email for the COPR portal on Jan 6th and I replied within 15 minutes. I also sent a follow-up email on the 15th, but no response whatsoever. Why should I wait for months to get a...

I do not understand what kind of losers these guys are. Why does the creation of a simple portal account is taking them several days? Why are the response times so inconsistent. The lack of accountability is killing me.

Following are the answers to your questions: 1. No. Approval means just that. There is literally no chance of refusal after this. You pass all the stages and an officer finally reviews everything before approving or rejecting your application. Based on what I read on this forum, a COPR document...

Yes. Your file probably has not been picked by an officer who can pretty much make you pass all the stages at her/his discretion. The security check is weird because it takes several months for some folks to pass while weirdos like me clear it within hours. What's not reassuring to me is the...

IRCC Testing New Permanent Resident Confirmation Portal

You will most likely receive no response from him. They are aware of these inefficiencies and use COVID as an excuse for practically everything. I don't know why they decided to go with this portal idea as everything was fine when they sent the COPR through email. Unless otherwise indicated...

    >>>>>>>JUNE 2020 AOR<<<<<<< Join here

After what felt like an eternity to me, I finally got an email from IRCC asking me for details to set up an account for the new COPR portal on Jan 06, 2021. My AOR is June 27, 2020, I passed everything by Dec 03, 2020, and my file was approved on Dec 08, 2020. It took them almost a month to send...

Lol, it appears to me that a lot of folks have their applications approved just like me. I thought I was the only weirdo to not get a COPR days after getting the final decision. Hang in there, people. We will see what happens next. I am glad I have some company.
