Could anyone let me know - is the oath invite also sent by email these days same as test? I am planning on moving soon, in the next few months, my application has been in process since end of February (I sent my documents in December 2019)
They extended expiration date for some documents and might extend for many more (I was talking to the city clerk) so it's a possibility they might even extend PR card validity...Why do we have to pay? If it's not our fault?
Yes I guess it helps because when you are in the system it might be easier to ask them for an update and be sure that the application wasn't lost...I am in the system but I feel like my test invite won't come for another year and in 2022 my PR card expires
Government does help financially though and rules change and exceptions will be made I am sure. This is unprecedented time and measures will be taken. Canada is a very fair country so it will be curious to observe how it pans out. I just wonder how and when
Here is another question...My PR card expires in 2022. I travel a lot and do need to travel for personal reasons and for business.
My citizenship application has been in process since end of February.
It looks like I won't be getting my citizenship for another 2 years because of the backlog but...
