Declaration of Intent to Reside in Québec - Am I able to move?

Thanks Betula. I wasn’t quite sure since many people claim that MIDI can go after applicants who didn’t remain in Québec long enough.

Declaration of Intent to Reside in Québec - Am I able to move?

I have recently been offered a career opportunity outside the province. Are we even able to leave Québec (landed QSW immigrant) without any adverse consequences regarding future citizenship? I've been trying to find any definite information pertaining to a legal obligation to stay in Québec but...

Declaration of Intent to Reside in Québec- potential issues with Citizenship?

Thanks again for your input in this matter. Have you ever heard of anyone who got in trouble for violating the agreement? Would it be MIDI or CIC (IRCC) that can potentially go after immigrants who left Québec?

Thank you Katayoon. Would you also happen to know how binding the Déclaration d'intention de résider au Québec is. Again, I could not find any information nor timeframe.

Quebec Skilled Worker Federal Stage (After CSQ)

I did my landing on 24 December. I drove to Champlain–St. Bernard de Lacolle Border Crossing (it was not bust at all). I explained the U.S. border officer that I would be completing my landing process and he advised me to do the U-Turn without even entering USA. Canadian officer on the other...

I have just checked photo attached to my COPR. They do not match the current requirements 50 mm x 70 mm. Should I have new pictures taken before I go to the border then?

Quebec Skilled Worker Federal Stage (After CSQ)

From what I've learnt, ECAS and CIC are a bit out of sync. Some forum members waited four weeks for their PPR or CoPR to come. Good luck to you all!

Quebec Skilled Worker Federal Stage (After CSQ)

Thank you all. I sent out a "case specific enquiry" yesterday. Perhaps that had something to do with it. Any idea what the requirements are in terms of financial independence (proof of means) during landing procedure? As for the assignment due date: 11/1/2016

Quebec Skilled Worker Federal Stage (After CSQ)

I checked the status last night and it was still showing In Process and it showed Decision Made this morning. Yes, I am from a visa exempt country. I'm trying to get a hold off my immigration representative for some additional info, since we have not gotten any email confirmation from CIC.

Quebec Skilled Worker Federal Stage (After CSQ)

I have heard of any late 2015 applicant receiving a CoPR lately. It looks like the quota for 2016 has been maxed out.

QSW Federal Stage - Application from Inside Canada

My due date from GCMS is today but again I don't expect any revolutionary actions from CIC until the new immigration quota comes into force.
